Single Vision Lenses
Single Vision Lenses are used to correct common visual defects
such as myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism.
Progressive Lenses
Progressive Lenses offer the best solution for presbyopia. Since
Essilor developed Varilux®, the world's first progressive lens,
people over the age of 40 have been able to enjoy natural vision
from near to far.
Varilux® lenses
offer a wide, uninterrupted field of vision plus a youthful
appearance.
Bifocals
Bifocals offer far and near correction, but this older style of
lens has an obvious line that affects vision, is not as
cosmetically attractive and can be hazardous for older
wearers.
Reading Glasses
Reading Glasses can also be used to correct presbyopia. They
correct near vision (less than 1m), but objects at all other
distances will be blurred. This is often inconvenient and if you
require glasses for driving, two pairs of spectacles may be
needed.
Visique recommend Varilux - the best selling progressive lens
in the world
There are more than 400 million Varilux wearers worldwide.
Inspired by the nature of the eye, Varilux lenses deliver:
- Natural vision, even after the age of 40
- See far, intermediate and near
- Superior contrast
- Unmatched comfort
- Wider fields of vision
Varilux lifts restrictions on your vision that you might
experience when wearing single vision, bifocal or even standard
progressive lenses. Your field of vision expands and your vision
with Varilux progressive lenses becomes more natural.
