A number of treatments and high tech finishes can now be added to your lenses to enhance their performance.

Scratch Resistant Coating

Scratch resistant coating increases the durability of plastic lenses. Essilor's hardcoat - TD2 - offers tough, durable, two-sided protection for both the front and back of your lenses.

Anti-Reflection Coatings

Anti-reflection coatings give you the clearest vision possible by eliminating unwanted reflections. They enhance contrast and improve night driving. With no reflections the lenses are virtually invisible and people see your eyes more clearly.

Crizal®

Crizal® is Essilor's 'All-in-One' coating which offers the best combination treatment of easy-clean, scratch resistance and anti-reflection. Crizal includes an ingenious anti-static layer which takes electro-static charge away from the lens surface and actually repels dust, making lenses even easier to keep clean.

Transitions® Lenses

Transitions® lenses darken in sunlight, are clear indoors and protect against UV rays. They are available in a wide variety of materials and come in almost all lens designs.

Polarising Lenses

Polarising lenses protect against the sun's reflected glare, particularly from surfaces such as water, snow, sand, car bonnets and so on. Available in a range of designs and materials, polarising lenses make for the most comfortable prescription sunglasses.
