What is an eye examination?

The Process

A standard Visique eye examination is a comprehensive process designed to assess eye health, detect any eye and vision problems.

No preparation is required. It is easy and convenient, and takes less than one hour.

On your first visit your Visique optometrist will enquire about your general medical, eye health and family eye care history.

What next?

On completion of the eye examination your Visique optometrist will discuss your results and advise you on the best course of corrective action.

In the event of any irregularity remedial treatment will be suggested or you will be referred to an appropriate specialist for further attention.

Your Visique optometrist will also recommend when your next eye examination should be and may send you a reminder letter or phone call. However, if you have concerns at any time prior to the next examination, please contact your Visique Optometrist.
